Charley and his wife, Mitzie, love taking friends out on Snug Harbor and introducing them to the experience of sailing on San Francisco Bay. Charley also periodically takes Snug Harbor to Mexico and gets friends together to crew on the ocean passages and for cruising in Mexico. Charley took Snug Harbor to Mexico during the winter of 2011/2012 where he cruised the Pacific mainland coast from a base in Nuevo Vallarta on Banderas Bay (just north of Puerto Vallarta) and again during the winter of 2014/2015 where he cruised out of La Paz, Baja California Sur. Charley is heading back to Mexico in the winter of of 2018/2019 and will again be basing Snug Harbor in La Paz which is a dreamy location with easy access to fabulous cruising grounds in the Sea of Cortez.
